Show Notes: Out in the Black play session #2 is now available!
Serenity RPG NewsThis podcast is the second roleplaying session of the Out in the Black module that is being run by David Moore and being played by; Cynthia Armistead, Curt Arnow, Ben Balestra, Sam Chupp, Mario Dongu.

Sam had an issue with his sound equipment, so his voice quality goes in and out. You will hear it right after the intro, and it goes from normal to fuzzy off and on. He does manage to fix it about a third of the way through.

Next session, Miranda Thomas from Firefly Talk and The Signal joins our group as a new roleplayer and member of the crew!

News: Good news?
Serenity RPG NewsThis is from SerenityRPG.com (2006-10-16):

Still Flyin', and Maybe Some Good News Coming Soon!
Some fans have expressed real, valid concerns that the Serenity RPG product line was drying up. We're very excited to say that we're in talks about future releases as we speak and things are looking very promising! Sorry, we can't release details yet and are not in a position to make any promises -- but we've had too much fun and have been blessed with such great customers that we're not ready to quit. We hope to have a real announcement in the near future.

News: Possible new supplement for the Serenity RPG
Serenity RPG NewsGleaned from Whedon-esque

For anyone who may be hesitant to purchase the full, hardcover Serenity Role Playing Game, there will be "streamlined" version of the game called the QuickDraw. This will be available for free, as a download or as a booklet at conventions, sometime this Spring or Summer.

So for those who are interested in the system but have yet to pick up a book (or are waiting for the next printing) perhaps this will entice you to go get your books.

News: Serenity RPG Errata and Fourth Printing!
Serenity RPG NewsFrom 'Verse reporter Shannon Farrell:

It looks like there's a new article at Serenity RPG.com. Check it out here. Good news is that Serenity RPG is going to print for the fourth time. The good news is also that they're going to include errata, an index and a character sheet. The bad news is that means I'm going to want to buy a new copy! Gorramit, it's hard to afford those things. Maybe I can convince myself to just download the information instead of buying a shiny new book.

All I can say is: "Shiny!"
